Likewise, I think you are supporting a lot of men's mental health inadvertently and indirectly, but I think we're going to start there. So let's talk about the effects of stress on a man's body and the effects of stress on disease, which I think, you know, you've talked about and one of the things that you touched on before. So let's just start there. Yeah. So my journey kind of like looking at this started with my experience with pain

management. So I compete in powerlifting. I've done really well. I've won a master's world title.

I've got silver medal in open worlds in 2015. I set a world spot record.

I've won five national titles in total.

But I went through about an eight-year period where I struggled with pretty chronic back and hip pain.

It also happened to coincide with the most stressful period of my life.

And as I dug into pain literature, one of the things that really consistently popped up was essentially,

I want to summarize like four decades of pain research, but essentially, if you are under a lot

of psychological stress, it drastically lowers your susceptibility to filling pain.

Pain is, we usually just think, oh, pain is proportionate to how much tissue damage there is.

And that is not how it works at all.

If you think about pain is a gate and you can open or close that gate in terms of your sensitivity to pain, one of the biggest levers is psychological stress.

And in fact, you see people with fibromyalgia who are diagnosed with fibromyalgia, one of the most

consistent aspects of that is they're much more likely to have high levels of psychological
