Joseph Murphy lecture. The lectures feel quite different than much of the book chapters and other

teachings that we've read from Joseph Murphy. I've particularly

enjoyed the wealth mindset. All the world believes a lie and the power of suggestion. Today's

is the fallacy of old age. This reminded me of Orison Sweat Martin's Why Grow Old? A short booklet

we read about a year ago on the podcast.

This one discusses age and the fallacy behind it in that beautiful Joseph Murphy way.

The fallacy of old age.

Even to your old age, I am he, and even to your old hairs I will carry you.

I have made and I will bear.

Even will I carry you, will deliver you.

The spirit in you, which is the reality of you, which is God was never born.

Will never die. Water wets it not. Fire burns it not. Wind blows it not away.

This is life eternal to know thee, the one true God. The spirit in you is never born.

Will never die. It never grows old. It's eternal.

That's who you really are. Age is not the flight of years. It's the dawn of wisdom.

As one man said, we must cease penalizing the old because the man with gray hairs 65 or 70 or 80 he has learned a lot he's been

through the mill his gray hairs must count for something more than gray hairs he's not selling his

gray hairs you know he's selling his wisdom his knowledge the skill that he's garnered in experience

that he's garnered through the, that he's garnered through

the years. I know some engineers who come to my meetings on Sunday. They are 75 and 80 years of

age. They are consulting engineers. They contribute their wisdom and understanding to many other
