Well, great. Welcome to the dividing line. It is Reformation Day. Well, for some of us,

it's always interesting every year on Twitter. I do follow some Roman Catholics and it can

get really weird on Reformation Day. There's one fellow Taylor Marshall that's posted

some really wild stuff. You got to understand that at the time of the Reformation and then

thereafter, you know, I've mentioned before, maybe I mentioned it, I don't know, but for

example, Sir Thomas Moore and Martin Luther exhausted every possible Latin term for excrement

and describing each other in their voluminous writings against one another in Latin. There

were no more Latin words that could be that anyone ever thought of that they used of each

other. So, you know, we think things are bad now, but let me tell you, things could get really

pretty crazy, even at the time of the Reformation. So, at the time of the Reformation, you know,

the woodcuts, the art that was used, you know, by Protestants to describe Rome and the Pope,

you've seen, well, maybe haven't, but most people who've done any reading at all in Reformation

history, you've seen the woodcuts of, you know, the Pope made out to be a seven-headed serpent,

and you know, demons dancing around his head and stuff like that. And the Catholics did the same

thing in reverse. And so, some of the stuff, and there's still some Catholics that are pretty

much on the same crusade they're on back then. I saw quotes attributed Luther day, and I'm like,

yeah, I don't think so. And look, we attribute stuff to Luther that you can't find in any of the

many volumes of Luther's works. You can search, but you won't find it. And so, it happens going both

directions. But on Sunday, I took a few minutes during the service since it was Reformation

Dave service to make a comment, similar to what I had posted on Twitter. And when Jeff took the

pulpit, he said, well, thank you, Dr. Downer. And it's all because I, you know, I teach church history,

and so I have to tell you the truth. And I did see one meme so far today on my feed. That was
