Frank Turek on Predestination, a Roman Critique of EOism as "Petrified," and Andrew I

Played a clip where Dr. Turek uses a form of Molinism to respond to a question on predestination. Before or after that (funny how it is hard to remember right after doing the show!) we looked at a graphic where a Roman Catholic says the Orthodox are "Petrified" as in fossilized in time, and what that might mean. Then we spent the rest of the time looking at my exchange with Andrew Isker on the imprisonment and eventual death of Fritz Erbe and others in the sacral period after the Reformation. A useful exposure of where Isker, and those allied with him, are really going.

The Great Divorce, Provisionism and the God-fearers, NT Wright on Abortion

Lots of different topics covered today, starting with the uproar between Trump and Musk but moving on to wider topics. Then we looked at some comments from Leighton Flowers about "God-fearers," and finished up with a brief discussion about NT Wright's defense of abortion in "extreme circumstances."

Overseers and the Flock in the Digital Age, then, Calvin on the Knowledge of God and

Did a little more than the first half of the program on Acts 20 and Paul's words to the Ephesian elders asking if it is really so shocking that elders today need to be concerned about what is coming into the fellowship through social media sources. Then, we started reading some of Calvin's finest work in the opening of the Institutes and his vital discussion of the knowledge of God and the knowledge of man.

Matthew 23:37, You Are Not My Sheep, Sacralism Illustrated

Started off with a few observations about the fact that the US had a shadow, unelected government for four years, and how that should sober anyone up real fast, then we moved into some discussions with the Provisionists about Matthew 23:37 and about Jesus' statement that "you are not my sheep," and finally looked for a few minutes at part of the "How Sacralism Saved the Church" video and how this viewpoint is hopelessly self-contradictory (let alone ahistorical and unbiblical).

Diving into Church History on the Papacy (and Some Other Stuff)

Did an hour today prior to joining Eli Ayala to discuss sola scriptura and dove into some church history, the bishop of Rome, the development hypothesis, and other stuff; likewise, briefly looked at the assertion that "sacralism saved the church," another astonishing claim as well.

Dividing Line/Apologia Radio MashUp Reviewing the Mahler Debate and Related Topics/Is

Joined Luke and Zach from Apologia Radio for a "mashup" show today to go over the Mahler debate and related issues. We ended up talking about the future, the state of the church, and a lot more! Love chatting with my brothers, and hope you enjoy the result!

About That Venomous Platypus, Pope Leo XIV and the "Rock," Update on the Mobile Comma

Had a lot to report on regarding Thursday's debate, and talked a bit about Mahler's abuse of Genesis 9:25-27 as well. Discussed some of the nasty anons like DefiantBaptist and their amazing behavior. Eventually moved to "Catholic Integralism" and Pope Leo XIV, and finished up with some information about the two major (month-plus long) trips in July and September.

Trinity and Transgenderism, The Classical Ponderer, and My Thoughts on the G3 Situati

Covered a few bookmarks in X I had saved, including an Episcopalian "priestess" who is confused on the Trinity and transgenderism, then an X account called The Classical Ponderer who ripped into me as a coward and a vulture. Then finished with some thoughts on yesterday's announcement of the cancellation of the G3 Conference in Atlanta and the attendant issues. Don't forget the debate on Thursday, 8pm EDT on the Bible Dinger's channel on YouTube!

Condolences, Leo XIV, Debating Wolfe, Webbon on Excommunications

Started off offering Christian condolences to @SavagelyAverage and @KenFiveSolas on social media, both of whom lost their wives suddenly. Talked a bit about grieving. Then moved on to the new Pope, Leo XIV, and about how an earlier Leo, the Xth, was important in the Reformation. Then we looked at some comments from Stephen Wolfe, and Joel Webbon (on very different topics, though, somewhat related).

Faith, the Qur'an, and the Bible, Online Defense of White Supremacists

A clip from Leighton Flowers comparing the Bible and the Qur'an (from four years ago!) popped up and that resulted in a tweet from LF about debating the topic. We examined that, then talked for a while about the exposure of "Woe" from the Stone Choir and amazingly how those supportive of the rehabilitation of the Nazis and Hitler have come to his defense.

The Coming Conclave, then How Cults Get Members (Upcoming Debate)

Talked about the upcoming Papal conclave (5/7) and the legacy of Francis's papacy in regards to Rome's claims of ultimate authority. Then we moved into a discussion of the upcoming debate with Corey Mahler on May 15th, "Is the Holy Spirit Able to Sanctify Black Believers as Well as White Believers?"

ReformCon Road Trip DL: Colorado Insanity, Why You Should Not Join the Roman Catholic

ReformCon starts tomorrow afternoon, so I am in Tucson and we did the program from the Mobile Command Center once again. Talked about the coming demographic disaster and its relationship to worldview issues, then discussed the utter evil of the leftists in Colorado pushing to destroy the family and corrupt children, and finished up going over this article that I wrote 18 years ago on the top 10 reasons not to join the Roman Catholic Church.

Road Trip Dividing Line: Jeff Durbin and the Jewish Representative, then Jay Dyer on

Rich worked hard to work on the audio challenges we have had in the past and the changes made it a lot easier for me to play video clips on the program today. So, we looked at Jeff Durbin's exchange with the Jewish representative in Georgia, and responded to Joel Webbon's criticism of that exchange. Then we looked at some tweets from Stephen Wolfe on sacralism, and finished up playing a few minutes of Jay Dyer bullying a person on line and likewise arguing against the Apostle Paul.

Story Time with Uncle Jimmy: The Acts of Paul and Thecla

As promised on today's program I read through The Acts of Paul and Thecla, commented on the Orthodox veneration of Thecla as a saint and "equal of the Apostles," and what we can learn about the context of the origination of this apocryphal mythology from the second century. By the way, here is the article I mentioned from the OCA website about Thecla.

I Told You the Sacralists Were Coming, Didn't I?

So Joel Webbon dropped a webcast about how the State is to correct the Church, and how this has been normative throughout church history. Well, do forgive me, but I've always opposed sacralism, still do, always will, and the errors and holes in the presentation, historically and logically, were big enough for me to drive my big GMC through, so, we did. Lots of stuff about Constantine, ecumenical councils, etc. Ninety minutes plus today! Also made reference to this article I wrote many years ago on the Council of Nicea.https://equip.org/PDF/DN206.pdf

A Nation Divided, My Irrelevancy, the Finished Atonement

Started off with more evidence of how divided a nation the US is, then moved on to listen to some brief comments from He Who Judges from Afar, and then we moved into some thoughts about the debate with Joe Heschmeyer, specifically on what his point was in emphasizing the time gap between the cross and the Ascension.

A Divided Nation Then Thoughts on Ecumenical Councils

Reflected on the deep division that exists in Western Culture today and in the United States in particular, and then moved on to some of the Jay Dyer stuff and the continued need to have an in-depth discussion on the "7th Ecumenical Council," aka Nicea II.

Jay Dyer Implodes on the Playground; Yes, Joe, Bishop and Elder are the Same Office

About halfway through the program we had a power spike due to a storm blowing into Phoenix, but we got it all recorded anyway. First I dealt with the amazing explosion of infantile behavior by one Jay Dyer when I dared actually treat him like an adult in challenging him to defend Nicea II in debate. You won't believe his behavior. Then we transitioned into an examination of the reality, acknowledged by all, really, that "presbuteros" and "episkopos" in the Greek New Testament refer to the very same office, a reality disputed by Joe Heschmeyer in our debate in Jonesboro. Enjoy!

Excited to be home, but excited to head out in just a matter of weeks for the "Louisiana Loop" that will take me to southern Louisiana for a debate on April 4th, and then to northern Louisiana for a debate on the 10th. Talked a bit about last weekend's debates as well.

The Ignatian Strawman Extinguished

Though I really wasn't feeling well after I arrived here in Amarillo, I felt it was absolutely necessary to address the amazingly dishonest attacks that have been launched against me about a single cross-examination question from Saturday night's debate. So we did a full dive into Ignatius, his writings, the issues with the transmission of those writings, forgeries, you name it, and then walked through the actual text cited in the debate demonstrating that the actual answer I gave was fully substantiated by the text itself. It is my hope that those who are planning to continue this campaign of misrepresentation will listen to this presentation, realize the foolishness of such an action, repent of their intentions, and cease and desist with their activities. That is up to them. For everyone else, you get to learn a whole lot about issues related to ancient church history! Enjoy!

Road Trip DL from Jonesboro

Mainly covered the upcoming debates, how to properly encourage someone interested in pursuing apologetics, foundational issues, etc., and then talked a bit about Gavin Ortlund and his videos, and the recent discussion about the canon of Scripture, the Deuterocanonical books, etc. Not sure about when we will be able to do programs next week, to be honest, as I drive back home, but we will see how it goes!

Road Trip DL: Conway; Francis, the Future, then Zeitoun as Evidence

Snuck a quick program in today before teaching at the seminary this evening, talking about developments with what seems like the soon passing of Pope Francis, etc. Then we briefly discussed recent conversations concerning Cameron Bertuzzi, a convert to Romanism, and his claim that the supposed appearances of Mary at Zeitoun, Egypt, decades ago provide better evidence for the Christian faith than the resurrection appearances of Jesus. Hopefully get to do another program from Jonesboro on Thursday before the two debates this weekend.

Glanced over once and we had over 1,440 people viewing! And now...to sleep!

Explained why I am still here in Phoenix when I was supposed to leave today (I leave tomorrow). But mainly we focused on Pope Francis as well as a video clip attacking sola scriptura. If Francis passes, will you be ready to take advantage of all the opportunities to bear witness to the gospel of grace? This episode might help!

Also covered some of the upcoming stops, and debates, on the next trip (which begins in about ten days).

That Weird Pointy Hat Procession, then, Stephen Wolfe's Smarter Worldview

Went for a jumbo edition today in the big studio with the big board! Commented briefly about the Roman Catholic penitential procession video that made the rounds a few days ago, then we looked at Stephen Wolfe's lengthy tweet about the term "worldview" and how we would be better off abandoning it. Hardly surprising, but I disagreed!

Stone Choir Cult Attacks Plus More

Went a full 90 minutes today starting with Corey Mahler and the Stone Choir Cult's attack on my last evening, followed up by Mahler's amazing promotion of Marcion's gnosticism. I used his false statements about the name Yahweh to go into church history and trace the damage that was done by the loss of the knowledge of Hebrew and how this impacted the development of sub- and anti-biblical traditions. We also looked at a claim by Leighton Flowers about church history (always entertaining), a sola scriptura meme, and a brief inquiry as to whether JD Hall's elders know he is back to doing what destroyed him, his church, and his ministry, only two years ago.

The Post War Consensus then Gold from the Prophet Jeremiah

I was said to be part of the "PWC crowd" in a statement this morning by a young social media type guy, so we looked at what the PWC is, a bit about R.R. Reno, stuff like that, then switched over to Jeremiah chapter ten and some great jewels provided in God's glorious Scriptures.

How Denominations Die, How Movements Crash and Burn

Started off with some of the current developments on the world and national stage, then looked at the amazing example of the National Prayer Service yesterday morning in Washington, and the leftist "bishoptrix" at the National Cathedral. How do denominations die? Where do they begin? Then we moved on to how quickly the anon army is abandoning the positions they once held for, well, for what, exactly? They don't seem to know!

The Andrew Tate Saga Isn't That Tough, Then, the Alleged Seventh Ecumenical Council (

Is Andrew Tate "sinning in the right direction?" I am not even sure what that is supposed to mean, but we spent some time talking about Andrew Tate and the fascinating interaction Christians have been having with him. Then we just about burned the clutch out by shifting over to a discussion of "Ecumenical Councils" and specifically the so-called 7th Ecumenical Council, Second Nicea, held in 787.

A Blast from the Past, Marian Devotion, the Book of Abraham

A listener sent in the printed schedule of my events from my trip to New York in April of 1998, which I read through as evidence of the fact that Chris Arnzen tried to kill me back then! After a bit of that we looked at some Marian devotion issues relating to the gospel, and then focused in on the Book of Abraham in the LDS Scriptures.

The addition of Catholic speaker Calvin Robinson to the line up at the the Defeating Trashworld Conference in April has stirred up a lot of controversy, and properly so. And I got distracted by my Apple Watch a few times. Just saying!

Insights from TurretinFan, and More on the Nazi Invasion

Talked a bit about how modern tech is allowing us to "read" ancient scrolls that have been fossilized over time, then looked at some insights, and corrections, from our friend TurretinFan regarding the TR, the book of Revelation, etc. Then transitioned into more recent developments into the influx of Nazi apologists into "Reformed" churches, and the Reformed men who are, foolishly, refusing to protect the flock.

Last Road Trip DL for 2024 coming from Holbrook, Arizona this evening. Started off looking at Joel Webbon's defense both of "anons" and using them to mock people "right off X," naming Owen Strachan as an example. Then we discussed the encounter between Wes Huff, a Christian scholar and apologist, and Billy Carson, an Internet "influencer" of some kind, and Carson's claims that Jesus was not crucified, etc.

Pretty much went through a Twitter thread from a fellow named BG Apustaja and replied to his assertions about how I have become "unhinged," which led to a discussion of a lot of different topics. Frozen Road Trip DL: The Supreme Court as a Window into the Degradation of the US

I am parked in the frozen tundra of St. Charles but we still managed to spend an hour talking mainly about the oral arguments presented at the Supreme Court yesterday regarding SB1, Tennessee's law prohibiting the use of chemicals on minors to "transition" them. It was a truly disheartening thing to listen to the entire session and realize that you cannot even pretend the Christian worldview is relevant in the governing of the United States any longer.
