Charles is founder and director of Behavioral Therapy Center of Greater Washington, and he's also on the scientific and

clinical advisory board of the ISDF so it was great to get him on several people

have asked for him to be on the show so it's great to finally get him on and chat with him all about his

experience in treating OCD and he also goes into kind of the history of how OCD therapy

has developed which was really fascinating. He talks about when he was

consulting on the TV show Pure, which is Rose Cartwright's TV show. So he was him and Dr. Professor David Ville were advising Rose and the TV

production team making sure they did a good job and did right by everyone who has OCD and by the diagnosis.

Then we talked about general ERP stuff, you know explaining ERP, sticking points. We talked about OCD in Tourette's and also

Toretic OCD. We talked about uncertainty and his views around that. And then what he notices

from his clients that seem to recover quicker

And he gives a lot of client examples which I found fascinating and really illustrated
