I'm really excited to have Dr. Andrew Weil on the show today.

We cover a lot of topics, some really fun ones too, like medicinal mushrooms, his love for

Macha tea, we talk about brain enhancing compounds, the effects of mega threes,

micro dosing, fasting, fasting controlling glucose like a whole slew of really fun

stuff I in I can't even tell you how much I respect the work that Dr. Wile has done over the years I've been

been following him since the mid 90s when my mom back in the day used to get his

newsletter delivered to our house. This was like a mailed like 15 page little

pamphlet that you would get every month I think every month or every quarter

something like that. But he would talk about all these different herbs and

supplements and compounds that he was trying and things to avoid.

He was one of the first people that stood up and started to fight against trans fats and was

a big deal and it's talking about all the dangers of trans fats and required to be listed on food labels

which was a big deal and it's certainly saved a ton of people's lives.

So he's done some great work and he's been rewarded for that.

I mean, he has a really popular website, Dr.Wall.com.

He's also been featured on the cover of Time magazine twice.

Time named him one of the 25 most influential Americans

and one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

He's been on Oprah, the Today Show, Larry King Live, just so many times when that show was airing.

He used to be on there, I feel like, you know, like once a month or something like that was crazy.

He's a ton of appearances there.
