All right, guys, we got a special guest on the podcast today. His name is Doug Wilson. So he

is a conservative, reformed evangelical theologian and pastor at Christ's Church in Moscow, Idaho.

He's written a bunch of different books. And so really the, I guess scaffolding for today's

conversation is his latest book called Mir Krishendom. But he's also written future men reforming

marriage rules for reformers when the man comes around and a bunch more. And future men is actually

But in our conversation today, again, we used Mir Krishendom for our discussion scaffolding

for today. I did ask him, you know, how do you become a theologian and a pastor? But we talked

about what is Mir Krishendom, or sorry, not Mir Krishendom. Here I am going. I'll see us lose.

Mir Krishendom. What is that? And why name the book that way? Why, why kind of take that on? But

really, we dig into why secularism has not worked in modern society, specifically in the United

States. And beyond that, why it's just flat out wicked. What a lot of people have done in the

secular world is to make you believe that their worldview doesn't have religious assumptions,

that is actually religiously neutral. So we talk about how that's really ridiculous. We also

spend time talking about what Christian leaders and Christian pastors have done to kind of aid in

this, especially during the COVID lockdowns and the BLM riots and just some of the things that

were done, kind of this Ted Turk, you know, Ted Turk, Ted talk churches, these at the movies

approaches to everything and how basically that doesn't lead to a deep level of gospel understanding

and deep theology. And then we talked about the difference between a theocracy and a theonomy.
