Doug loves minis

Hey short rounds, my name is Doug and this is Doug loves minis,

the show that is still seeing one movie a day, every day, at least one, sometimes more,

sober January is almost halfway over, hallelujah, 2014 Wolf of Wall Street.

Day 62 of Doug's movie a day, I watched Runner Runner on a plane.

I joked when this movie came out that it's proof why Ben Affleck shouldn't be the new Batman,

but I take it back, man. Takebacks.

It's not a great movie, but it's watchable, and Mr. Affleck is just fine in it.

And my timing was interesting because it has a lot of similar story elements to Wolf of Wall Street and American Hustle.

So check out Runner Runner if you're not sick of movies about rich people enjoying your money.

He didn't make it, so we will have to reschedule him for the next time that my favorite

Canadian is in the U.S.

A lot of people probably think my favorite Canadian is Rob Ford, but it's actually Sean

Cullen.

Dave Foley is a close second, but let's, it's not a competition, you guys.

Day 63 of Doug's movie today. I watched a screener of Cutie and the Boxer, which I think is available on demand and iTunes. It's about

the struggles of married Japanese artists. She's the cutie and he's the boxer, because sometimes

he paints with boxing gloves, living in New York,

and, you know, having a hard time as artists in New York are wont to do. Not really my cup of

Asian tea, but I like the part where they talk about the last Indiana Jones movie sucking
