Maui because, as you know, President Biden made the trip finally there yesterday.

And he was performing a modern American tradition, an obligation of presidents to be the shoulder to cry on when catastrophes happen.

This is now almost a constitutional requirement like the State of the Union address.

If some disaster happens that's big enough, the president must go.

Otherwise, the president is a bad person, an indifferent and callous, a heartless, you know what.

And of course, when he does show up, there are people saying he's only here to exploit it politically.

He doesn't really care, et cetera, et cetera.

There's really no winning in these situations.
