Welcome to another episode of Hockblogger mornings.

I'm Brian Mhouser and happy Tuesday morning to all of you out there.

I hope you are enjoying the beginning to your day.

I kind of like these 7 a.m. starts. I know it's early for most people. I think it's probably better that I start at 8 a.m. for everyone else, but that feels like mid-morning to me. I'm like, you know, my kid's off to school. He just got on the bus. I'm ready to get going. And when I started this show 400 and however many days ago, it was you people that are tuning in

right now, who I had in mind. The people that are probably just starting their day, if you're on the

East Coast or somewhere else, then this doesn't really apply as much. But, you know, maybe you're,

working out, maybe you're taking a walk, maybe you're on your commute into the office, whatever

it may be. I hope you are here and enjoying some conversation about the Seahawks because right now

the Mariners are playing pretty darn well and they're dominating the airwaves locally for sure.

This is not a time where there's a lot of Seahawks content to hear. And I'm hoping that I can help fill that gap because I certainly want to talk

hawks each and every day as I've done with all of you guys for so long now.

Today we're going to tackle a tough topic.

So I just want to prepare you all mentally, emotionally, physically, like find your zen because we're going to face our fears.

We're going to talk about what if all of these national pundits are right?

What if the Seahawks are an eight-win team, a seven-win team?

What if they backslide from being a 10-win team in Mike McDonald's first

year to a below 500 team in his second season? What would have to happen for that to be the case?

And we're going to do that in a couple of ways. We're going to do that by examining the kind of

stress points of this roster and this construction of this team and

where things if they go wrong could go wrong and why those could be pretty significant

we're also going to look at teams that have done exactly that over the last two seasons so teams
