the battle over bias, belief, and common sense begins today in Tallahassee.

And we're coming to you live from Tallahassee, literally arriving here minutes ago, not seconds,

but minutes ago and getting some reports about what happened in court today.

I know Tim Jansen was there.

We're going to get to that in just a moment,

but this is a case that has gripped Florida and Tallahassee,

North and Florida in particular for more than a decade,

going past 11 years now in July,

since the execution-style murder of FSU law professor Dan Markell back in 2014.

This is now the fourth trial connected to Dan Markell's murder.

But Donna's case is definitely a bit different.

She is the family matriarch.

She is accused of being this so-called mastermind of this murder for hire plot.

And every move in the courtroom will no doubt be under scrutiny here to break it all down.
