Summary
Former president Donald Trump officially accepted the Republican nomination last night to cap off a four-day convention in Milwaukee. Toward the beginning of his address, Trump recounted the shooting in greater detail than many expected, then throughout the rest of his address, he would periodically speak of his gratitude to the Lord and of the nation’s need for God’s help. Brushes with death often leave a dramatic impact on our lives, but whether we choose to allow that impact to be fleeting or foundational will set the course for how others define our lives.
