In the booth right now at 3.20 AM, and we, like a lot of folks, are saying, how did this

It's surprised just about every pollster and every journalist.

The professionals were wrong.

The professionals in the media, the professionals in the business of running campaigns, and the

people who do polling for a living.

Now there were a couple of outliers out there, but there were literally scores and hundreds.

The polls done nationally and also in the swing states, the battleground states, and

they were almost perfectly uniformly wrong.

This is not to say that there was a huge margin of support for Clinton.

And it was a close campaign, a close race all along, but the pollsters and the pros.

And I would go so far as to say even people within the Trump campaign were signaling today,
