On Thursday, Donald and Elon Musk broke up in a very public way and a way that was as pathetic as they are.

Yes, they had a tiff on social media.

As far as breakup go, breakups go.

This one was a particularly expensive divorce.

ABC News Australia broke down just how much money Elon Musk lost thanks to his, quite frankly,

unhinged spiral on Twitter.

The social media hate fest between the world's richest man and the American president played out

very publicly, and it

led to Tesla's share price plummeting 14%, one of its worst trading days ever.

Considering Elon Musk donated more than $400 million to get Donald Trump elected, it hasn't

been a great return on investment.

Especially when you consider Tesla's market value, which is a major source of

his wealth, has plunged by $300 billion since the start of the week. On top of that, he's made

powerful enemies on both sides of politics, destroyed a large chunk of wealth for his shareholders,

and alienated his customer base, which is quite impressive.

That's so weird. So shareholders and people who buy cars don't like it when leaders are unhinged drama queens,

but the American people seem to be just fine with it. Anyway, that's pretty impressive.

Tesla was white, because of Musk,

Tesla lost over $150 billion yesterday as investors fled the company.

This comes after Elon Musk lost $100 billion since the start of Donald's second term in office on January 20, 2025.

And he stands to lose even more.
