I've come to realize that at every stage in life, probably every day to some extent, most people

are going through something, right? These somethings are going to vary. There's going to be someone who's going through a severe grief,

triggered by a loss, and there are going to be moments where we're going through something

like we're confused, we're weighing up our options so we can't land on a decision and it's really frustrating for us.

Maybe too there are just a couple of questions you have about your life and they're kind of always

whirring away in the back of your mind. Whatever you're experiencing right now this

Now if you've ever experienced anything crushing like a big loss,

you'll know that the thoughts that we have is like, I'll never be happy again. This is it. I'm doomed to feel this way. My life is even over in some in some cases we can feel like that

and we just picture this bleak future with nothing getting better because of this loss, this deep gaping loss.

And I think to myself, when we think about it that way, it's so consuming, right?

It's so big.

It feels so much bigger than us,

and you feel powerless and helpless.

And then, of course, we feel awful awful and we feel like it's not going to get better. But I think to myself,

what if it's not the future that we need to think about?
