Summary
It was supposed to be an ordinary afternoon.
Mike was helping his grandson build a model airplane while his wife watched their two-year-old granddaughter flip through picture books nearby. The house was quiet, the weather was beautiful, and nothing felt unusual.
Then a voice suddenly spoke.
Both Mike and his grandson heard it clearly. Both reacted immediately. And both would later repeat the exact same words.
The problem was the voice sounded like the toddler. And she wasn't capable of saying anything remotely like what they heard.
Years later, Mike and his grandson still remember the moment exactly the same way. The phrase hasn't changed. The feeling hasn't faded. And neither of them has ever figured out who was trying to warn them.
