Hello, my friends. Welcome back. It is time for the morning mindset. You know, I call

you friends all the time and I hope that doesn't bother you. Even though we have never met,

the reason I do it is because the Bible describes us as actually more than friends, as brothers

and sisters. In Jesus Christ, if we have both placed our faith in Him, so I see what

we are doing here together as a family thing, as a friendship thing, we are helping one

another, live the Christian life the way that we need to live it, so that we can endure

to the very end and see our Savior one day face to face. This morning mindset is critical

in that practice, as we together align our minds with the truth of God's Word. Well,

he did you know there is a companion journal that goes along with the morning mindset

every morning. If you are the type that loves to write, loves to dig into the scripture

straight from the mouth of Solomon, King Solomon, who is the wisest man who ever lived,

about how to not lose your stuff. No, you may think the Bible doesn't really care

about our stuff, but that is not true. The Lord cares about us in every way He could

care about us. That means protecting the things He has given us. But before the way I

just described that leads us straight, let me point out today's passage is talking

about one way not to lose your stuff. And it's a way, of course, based on wisdom. Let's

look at Proverbs chapter 22 verses 26 and 27. It says, do not be one of those who shakes

hands in pledge. Now, let's stop for a moment. Make sure we understand what that means.
