Don't go down the rabbit hole of negativity. I'm John Fuller, along with our vice president of parenting, Dr. Danny, like it or not, stereotypes happen, and so Gen Z and millennials and whatever else is happening these days in terms of labels for

for kids and young adults. There are some negative things going on in the heads of some of us older ones.

There are. I mean, there are some negative stereotypes, but I'll start with the positive ones.

Thank you. Yes. One of them is experiences over things.

That's something the minimalist type of mentality has come in

on the Gen Z and millennial side.

Digital fluency is another stereotype where they are they are tech natives they know

digital devices very very well and they're innovative and open to change those are

positive stereotypes that are out there.

Fantastic.

Even as you said that first one, I thought,

oh yeah, yeah, my kids will spend a lot of money on an experience,

but they don't spend a lot of money on stuff.

They go to the thrift store for

for stuff and I there's something good about that it's just different than I was raised

isn't that great yeah it is yeah the authenticity is another one that's is

really good for us to be thinking about.

On the negative side, some of the stereotypes are that they're difficult to work with,

selfish, lack ambition, they're slackers, they're uninspired, lazy, those are common of stereotypes
