If I'm worrying, then I'm living in my earthly family conditioning and I'm not living in my new family conditioning.

And that's probably because I was being lazy and I just didn't want to put the energy into getting into God's word and getting God's word into me.

Is you don't fight these negative thoughts by putting on boxing gloves and punching them out.

You fight them just by putting the right thoughts in your mind and dwelling on things that are true.

And so, feed what you will, but just remember what you feed is going to grow and what you starve is going to ultimately die.

And I say we get about feeding these good thoughts and feeding our mind good thoughts and letting these other things starve a little bit.

It's so great to be on with you. Thanks for having me.

Yes, absolutely. It's great to have you. I am so looking forward to this conversation.

But before we dive into all the questions that I have, I'd love if you can just start by sharing a little of your background and what you do for those who may not be familiar with you.

Yeah, so I'm a pastor of Passion City Church and we have locations in Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, DC.

We're a new church where it feels like we're just getting going, but I think we've been going about 12 years now.

And all that was born out of Passion Conference and the Passion Conference Movement, which has been a gathering for 18 to 25 year olds.

And we've been doing that for over a couple decades now.

And it's a movement really that's trying to help a generation live for what matters most.

And that is the glory of God.

We most recently had a big gathering here to kick off the year at Mercedes Ben Stadium.

Here in Atlanta with about 55,000 18 to 25 year olds, which is absolutely stunning and amazing.

One of the most powerful things I've ever been a part of.
