In 1989, Jerry was on the phone with a travel agent, ready to book his seat on United Airlines Flight 232 from Denver to Chicago.
But something strange happened. His gut clenched. He felt sick. Anxious. When an earlier flight was mentioned, his body relaxed. Calm. Peace.
He didn't know why, but he listened. Later that day, from a car in New York with his wife and one-year-old child, he heard the news. Flight 232 had crashed. One hundred twelve people died. Jerry was would have been on that plane.
Years later, he finds Touched by Heaven, and his story leads to a conversation with Trapper's podcast friend, Jim Harold. The topic is premonitions, instincts, and the quiet ways God sometimes intervenes--whether we believe in Him yet or not.
