One day we will all breathe for the last time.

And that breath will feel just like this one.

Same sunrise.

Same quiet hum of the world.

Same beating heart that doesn't realize it's on its final lap.

And the truth is,

that person will be you, it will be me.

We'll be all of us. See, life doesn't send warnings. It doesn't tap you on the shoulder

before it leaves. It just stops. And when I finally understood that,

I stopped waiting to be ready.

I stopped assuming I had time

because I realized every second we live is borrowed.

Every breath is on loan,

and the debt we owe is to life itself.

If time is borrowed, then I will spend it well.

Oh, how I used to think I was invincible.

But later is the most dangerous word we speak.

It quietly turns dreams into dust. We've seen later become never.

And before you know what, the chance is gone, it's evaporated.
