We're picking up with a new devote in the Bible app titled The Struggle is Real, how to

walk with someone who is hurting.

We thought this was a perfect follow-up to the previous devotional, which is how we can

have a hardship, and now this one is all about how we can help others in hardship.

There's a link to it in the description of the podcast so you guys want to follow along

with us.

As always, I'm going to read the scripture and Tori's going to pick it up with the

devote.

Let's do it.

The scripture is Job, chapter 2 verse 9, and it says, his wife said to him, are you still

trying to maintain your integrity, curse God, and die?

The devotional is titled The Story of Job, and it says, Job's story was the stuff

movies are made of, really sad movies.

Within 24 hours, Job's children were killed, his possessions were stolen or destroyed, and

his business went up in flames, literally.

He went from being the richest, most influential member of society to the poorest.

If that wasn't enough, Job also got painful sores all over his body.

In one day, Job lost his family, his stuff, and even his identity.

To say he was grieving is an understatement.
