0:31.9	Now when Karen and I got married, I controlled her.
0:34.1	I mean, I was a very controlling, dominating husband.
0:37.5	We were on the brink of divorce, it ruined our marriage and it always does.
0:41.1	Control is simply not of God.
0:43.1	But in Genesis chapter 3, you know, Adam and Eve sinned and God created them perfect
0:48.4	and put them in a garden of Eden.
0:50.9	The word Eden means pleasure and delight.
0:53.4	God created marriage to bless us.
0:55.7	God created marriage to be a place of pleasure and delight.
0:59.5	And as long as Adam and Eve were submitted to God, they lived in a beautiful paradise,
1:04.3	that's what their marriage was.
1:06.0	But the devil tempted them and they rebelled.
1:08.6	And when they rebelled, God cursed them.
1:11.1	And God said to Adam, it's not going to be easy on you anymore, Adam.
1:14.1	You lived in a paradise, you didn't have to work.
