| 0:00.0 | Welcome to Your World Within Daily. I'm Eddie Panero. In this episode, I'm going to kind of pick up where I left off yesterday. We're going to talk about change, but not in the context of what we're going towards, but what we sometimes have to find the courage to walk away from. All right, what is going on guys good morning i have a uh kind of a continuation of the last two days i |
| 0:33.0 | want to talk about is turned into an accidental three-part series but i'm all about it i think |
| 0:37.2 | this is a pretty cool |
| 0:38.7 | concept. So yesterday we talked a little bit about the idea of kind of pushing boundaries, right, |
| 0:46.1 | and how without even realizing it, we stay in this routine and we let life slip by without |
| 0:50.4 | growing or progressing and even realizing it, right? So the idea was every morning you think |
| 0:56.7 | about it like a fork in the road. Are you going left, which is staying the same? Or are you going |
| 1:01.6 | right, which is doing one thing to push you forward a little bit? And just that consciousness, |
| 1:05.5 | that awareness helps us to, like incentivizes us, right, to do one thing that moves us the way we want to go. |
| 1:12.3 | And those are the things that add up, they stack up, and they become our reality. |
| 1:15.4 | There's nothing more important than that realization. |
| 1:18.5 | So, look, we're talking about moving forward towards things we want. |
| 1:23.1 | Well, what about the inverse? |
| 1:25.0 | And I haven't really done a good job touching on that. The inverse is just as |
| 1:29.8 | important. What about the stuff we're leaving behind? That's a dragon that needs to be slayed. |
| 1:36.8 | And I was thinking this morning about a conversation I had with my grandfather, you know, when I was a kid, and there's a few of these. |
| 1:47.0 | You know, those of you who have seen my videos, you probably know about a few of them. |
| 1:50.8 | There's like five or six, and it's funny at the time, none of them registered. |
| 1:55.8 | But I think back now and it's like, I remember we were the context like why we had the conversation |
| 2:03.2 | it's really an astounding thing but this particular example I was living in L.A. at the time my |
| 2:10.3 | grandmother my grandfather they flew in from Boston and you know I think we're doing some family |
| 2:15.3 | stuff but I wanted to hang out with my friends down the street right I wanted I wanted to go to Kyle's house, play Star Wars, whatever it was we were doing, and that felt like the world to me. Like, I didn't want to miss out on that because I felt like I'd lose it. If I wasn't there, I'd lose something. And I remember him taking me from the kitchen to the living room being like, Eddie, you have to. He's like, that stuff, I promise you will always be there. |
