producer of live television events in the history of the medium.

A man who has overseen the telecasts of 14 Emmy Award ceremonies, three Academy

Award ceremonies, three Tony Award ceremonies, six Super Bowl halftime shows, two Olympics opening ceremonies, one

presidential convention, and countless incredible music and variety specials,

the great Don Misher. Across roughly 50 years in the business, 77 year old Misher, who presides over Los Angeles's Don Misher productions,

has personally accumulated an astounding 15 Emmy Awards, 10 Directors Guild of America Awards more than anyone else in history,

the Producers Guild of America's Award for Lifetime Achievement in Television,

and a Peabody Award for Excellence in Broadcasting.

Misher's latest must-see production was recorded in front of a live audience last September,

but did not air until January, when ABC broadcast it to millions.
