On today's show, we are going to talk about some of the biggest needs the Jets have this

offseason.

Often when we talk about needs, we think about what position groups are weakest.

But that's not always the right way to think about needs.

And we're going to explain why on today's show, On the defensive side of the ball, the Jets just

need good players. It doesn't really matter what position they play. On the offensive side of the

ball, they got to improve their skill positions to help out the quarterback, but they also need to

upgrade the offensive line. And that's where we will begin. Now, you might hear me talk about

upgrading the offensive line and say, well, that's the only part of the team I feel comfortable with.

And I think that you'd be right about that.

When you look position group by position group, the only area where I think you could even say the Jets are solid right now is the offensive line.

And you've got three, I think, cornerstone players of the five starters.

You have the two tackles, Armand Membu at right tackle, Olu Faschunu at left tackle, and then

Joe Tipman, who could play guard, could play center, not entirely clear where he's going to line up.

The two other spots, though, are a bit up in the air.
