David Bailey, Ruben Bain, who's your number one edge rusher in this class? And are they both going to go top 10? It's interesting because you didn't mention Arvell Reese as well, who, you know, where's you're going to play? Yes, I took him out because he is going top 10 but yes technically isn't it is an edge yes yeah yeah so I prefer bane bain over bailey to me I mean I just that bane's game is just so set up for the NFL and uh you know obviously you know one of the more fascinating arguments this draft cycle has been the length of his arms versus his compelling tape you know that

combined measurement of 30 and 7 8 inches makes him a complete outlier it's the

fourth smallest arm length in combine in combine history but and whilst the

argument is absolutely valid because you know the you know can he extend to get to the elbow when it's finished, when he's finishing, for example, the responsibility of him having to close with his feet becomes even more important because you don't have the arm link to do it naturally. Offensive tackles grab on every single play. And if you have short arms and it's harder to overcome those deficiencies, those grabs. But to me, there's, you know,

overwhelming engrossing evidence on the tape that says he can countenance those problems with

just that phenomenal lower body strength, the punch power, the low pad level that affords

him more opportunities than most edge rushers do. And I don't necessarily see Bain Mike as a guy who's going to be a 10, 12, 14 sacks a season guy.

That isn't necessarily his game.

He has lots of great pass rush moves.

He's explosive of the ball.

Pad levels, as I said, is unbelievable.

The swipes, the chops, the two hand chops, the push, pulls, all of those

things. But to me, his game is about setting the edge. It's about constant relentless pursuit.

It's about him being able to kick inside and be versatile and play as a five technique on the

inside on obvious passing downs to allow you to get more edge rushes on the field.

And, you know, for an NFL now that likes to flood the secondary and get home with four,

that's, you know, that's absolutely huge.

Yes, the arms are an issue, but I just think you look at some of the real minutiae of how he plays.

He's so big below the waist.
