Welcome back to the Dershow. Yesterday we talked a lot about Elon Musk today. He's making news again,

0:06.6

apparently, according to newspaper reports. He's going to be at the Sanctus aside when he announces

0:13.8

for president against Donald Trump. It'll be interesting to see how that develops within the

0:21.1

Republican Party and what role Elon Musk will play. Once we hear the statements that will be made

0:29.4

tomorrow, obviously, we can talk about that on this show. Today I wanted to talk about another

0:37.2

Trump-related issue, which is a little bit more general than just Trump. Having one part of her

0:44.9

case against Donald Trump, Eugene Carroll, is now kind of doubling down and piling on. She's

0:55.6

asked the judge to expand her defamation lawsuit against him to include what he said

1:03.6

after the trial was over on CNN and other places about her lawsuit. Essentially, she's claiming

1:10.9

that she was damaged because he disagreed with the jury verdict and said, no, not only didn't

die a rape or I didn't touch or I didn't assault or I was never in a, in a changing booth with her,

1:22.4

the only time I was ever with her was when she posed for a picture with me online. As a result of

1:29.9

that, the lawsuit is going to be expanded, at least if the judge allows it, he probably will,

1:37.5

to include these post trial developments. That raises a fundamental issue under the First Amendment,

1:44.4

an issue that I wanted to talk about for a long time, an issue that involved me as well when I was

1:50.8

falsely accused. When I was falsely accused, I immediately denied it and said it was no

1:58.2

truth to it and issued all kinds of challenges and presented all kinds of evidence as an innocent

2:05.6

person should do. I did that. As a result of that, my false accuser sued me for defamation.

2:17.0

And I asserted a First Amendment right. I believe that every American has the right to

2:22.5

proclaim his innocence and goes back to Aaron Burr, who proclaimed his innocence. Even though the

2:33.9

jury ultimately didn't find them innocent, they found it not proven when he was charged with

2:39.9

treason. In any event, I think that if somebody accuses any American of any crime,
