So I would like to chat about how we separate our being identified or our identities with our kids' behavior.

Okay. Because often with our kids' behavior, especially if it's negative behavior, it can

really do a number on us as moms to bring us down or cause depression even if we're not

really thrilled with the choices kids are making. So I would love to have some help on

that. Great. So is that something that you personally struggle with? It is. Okay. Tell me more about that.

Give me a situation where behavior felt really personal. Okay. I have a son who struggles in school

and behaviorally and grades. And I was getting calls almost daily about his behaviors and things like that. And it was really causing great anxiety with me and making me feel like, you know, because they'd say, what, what should we do here? And I thought, like, you know, because they'd say, what should we do here?

And I thought, like, you're the school.

So that was really hard for me because I felt judgment in those phone calls and felt like it was partly my fault and things like that.
