I just want to, I've been studying on the mystery Babylon and the Bible, and I just want to get your opinion.

So we're looking at the latter chapters of the Book of Revelation, and in particular the fall of Babylon.

And Babylon, it's interesting because John in the book of Revelation, he sort of resurrects

these Old Testament empires, you know, oftentimes spoken of, whether it's the Babylonians

or the Egyptians, these great

empires that really persecuted the people of God. I think he's using them more than anything

as a sort of visionary picture of the enemies of the people of God throughout history.

And there's indication throughout the book that you can associate, there was an association with Babylon with regard to the Jews, the people who were persecuting the Christians there in the first century.
