Good morning, Church.

My name is Marbella Green, and I serve here in the worship ministry in Kids Village and in students.

There was a time in my life where I was crippled by fear, anxiety,

and the desperate desire to control my life. But because of Jesus, I've experienced the beauty of

surrender and have found so much hope, freedom, and joy, and trusting in him. Our scripture for today

comes from James chapter 1, verses through 25 but be doers of the word and not hears only

deceiving yourselves because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer he is like someone

looking at his own face in a mirror for he he looks at himself, goes away, and immediately

forgets what kind of person he was. But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of

freedom and perseveres in it, and is not a forgetful here, but a doer who works, this person

will be blessed in what he does. This is the word of the Lord.
