Summary

This week we talk about freedom of expression for our kids, appropriate consequences when that behavior crosses set boundaries, and if it's okay to criticize their choices. Spoiler alert: absolutely if they're trying to grow a goatee. How much heroin will our kids be doing this week?

I'm Tom Curry. I'm joined as always by Thomas Smith and Eli Bos, Bosnick. We're talking about consent again. I go, okay, all right. No, enough. There must be a limit to how much Facebook can be interacted with. So, no, we're not going to talk about consent again. cricket, you can delete your credit now. I started to go fund me for his funeral arrangements. Yeah, Thomas started a podcast with the cricket. Donate to that. I guess I just also learned that Eli's basement is cricket killing cold down there. I have no idea how he is. I had to move a space heater down there because my plumber was down here and he was like, hey, what do you do for heat in the winter? And I was like, oh, I don't need to heat it down here anymore. I'm using these heat pumps and he was like, cool. Do you see these? And I was like, what are those? And he was like, those are your pipes? And there's water in there. And if you don't keep it 55 degrees in here, it will freeze and your house will implode.

2:02.7

And I was like, oh, that's not good.

2:04.5

What heater should I get?

2:05.9

And he was like, literally any heater, anything that creates heat, the most basic human function of technology.

I got this new construction house, and they did the coolest thing when they turned this house over to me. And I thought every house should just come with a guy that does this. And I don't know how they would make that work. But there was a guy who walked me through the house and told me how everything worked, which already knew. But if I was a first time homeowner, it would be awesome. But then he also told me, like, how everything worked and, like, where to buy replacements for things and how often to replace this and when to recock that, walk through how to maintain a goddamn house? Because the first house I got, I was just like, oh, how often do you reclock your windows? And it's like, I don't know, when the water comes in. Like, yeah, I literally had no idea when anything to do anything. There isn't a manual on a resale house. And I was shocked and pleasantly surprised with a new construction house. They actually have a whole walkthrough process that's like, okay, we gave this to you and it was nice. You know, maybe don't fuck it up, Curry. Maybe don't fuck it.

3:07.6

Yeah, my house is completely fucked, so when I have time, I'm going through the process of rebuilding that on my own.

3:13.1

I actually really like it.
