And friends, in this podcast episode, we're going to go over some of the winter or seasonal sensations and symptoms that keep showing up year after year.

Now, from living in the east, myself and amongst the eastern cultures for many years, I've learned that winter may influence a host of different physiological changes.

And since we as human beings are mainly programmed to become aware of only the negative changes, it's important to reflect on whether the winter triggers some kind of an emotional root cause to these physical issues.

Okay, so for years, you know, as I was going through my days living in Canada, and of course, it's very, very cold in most parts of Canada.

In the winter, I would get all these issues, right? And there was a host of them. I don't want to go into them one by one. But why they were showing up in the winter, most of the time, I just reflected and said it was cold out. I wasn't wearing enough clothes.

The wind was hitting my face or whatever it was. But as I live longer and longer, I realize that there may be some anchors, meaning when the winter shows up or somebody talks about the winter automatically, my system goes into more of a protective state.

Okay, a lot of people don't like the rain, they don't like the snow, and it's not that the rain or the snow is really affecting you physically, but underlyingly, there are some associations connected to this.

Now, I'm not saying this is the case for everybody. What I'm saying is to be open-minded in terms of what patterns continue to run year after year after year, because when we start to see our symptoms,

when we start to see the messages from the body from this perspective, no longer are we falling for the narrative, right?

The narrative that says, go get your flu shot or go get this or go get that, right? Because you're going to get sick, dress warmly. Of course, these are things that are important to some degree.

But I want to open up your mind to other possibilities, other connections, other habits that have been formed throughout the years, even from childhood onwards that are playing out now in your life.

So yes, there's a host of different physiological things that happen in the winter time, but I want to focus on just three of them.

You can go even deeper into this, obviously studying Eastern cultures and other pieces of information.

But let's go into three of the things that happen in the winter, continuously, that we only blame on our environment and the things that are going on in terms of the weather and such.

Okay, the first one is a runny nose. Okay, a runny nose. So a runny nose has the potential to be connected to not being satisfied with yourself if you're not learning.
