I think I've shared this story before about encouraging my son to take in truth before trivia

I'm not starting with truth as the foundation for my day. So that really has

motivated me to get into my Bible reading. And it's often that he'll come downstairs and he finds me

sitting down with my coffee reading my Bible. Now, I'm not holding myself up as the example,

except in the failure part of that. And maybe you feel like, I fail all the time. I'm not really modeling love for God's word. We want to encourage it today. So lean in. I'm John Fuller with our vice president of parenting, Dr. Danny Werta. And Danny, your quiet time. Did your kids see you engaging in the scripture, talking with the Lord, praying? Yeah, I would say not as much as I could have. And I think that would be most of us. Yeah, back at my failure part of it, right? And I don't know if it's failure. I think many of us are trying the best we can. And I think God has grace on that. And the kids need to see that. that this isn't a I should or I have to and otherwise I'm a bad person or a failure.

And in our home, John, what we did is, you know, we would try to do it together on a consistent basis.

I think we were even more consistent with that than me being alone doing it in front of the kids.
