Hi and welcome back to The Investigation.

I'm Kira Phillips, along with my co-host, Chris Vlasto, senior executive producer of our investigative unit here at ABC, and senior editorial producer, John Santucci.

Now, this week, we are doing things a little differently because, as you might have heard,

0:21.2

it was a busy weekend here in Washington.

0:23.6

Good afternoon.

0:24.4

We're coming on the air right now because Special Counsel Robert Mueller has completed the

0:28.0

Russian investigation and delivered his report to the Justice Department.

0:31.3

22 months and it's over.

1:11.5

No collusion between the Russians and the Trump campaign. There's no collusion, no nothing. Now, Barr also wrote

1:16.5

that his goal is to make as much of the report public as possible. So this week, while we are waiting

1:23.3

for access to more of this report, we are going to be releasing a new episode of the investigation

1:28.7

every day, and we're going to kick it off by talking with Jay Sekulow. He's one of President

1:33.5

Trump's lawyers, a key player throughout nearly all of this investigation. He's also Chief

1:38.7

Counsel at the American Center for Law and Justice, a conservative legal advocacy organization. Jay, thanks so much for being here.
