By the way, if I didn't mention this on the show yet, last night, Cincinnati and the Eagles in the preseason game, Cincinnati basically played their starters for the first quarter, and they did a really good job offensively.

Joe Burrow was 9 of 10 for two touchdowns. Jamar Chase, four catches 77 yards in a touchdown.

But Tanner McKee, the backup quarterback in Philadelphia, started against Cincinnati's starting defense and shredded

them in a half, 20 of 25, 252, and two touchdowns for Tanner McKee, sixth round pick out of Stanford back in the

2020 draft.

I think we now have at least, you know, believe what you want to believe.

But let's just say that Jeremy Fowler, Ben's follow-up, that it's 25 Washington offered Terry

McLaren, and that Terry's asking for 33 a year. Easiest way to kind of without the guaranteed

money, the Delta's $8 million, $25,033. If you think Washington's offer was lowball offer, a low ballish offer,

why do you think they did it? I think that's the most interesting thing, because there are a lot

of possibilities, and I don't have the answer. One possibility is that's just what they think he's worth.

They think he's top 13, 15 kind of a receiver in the league, or maybe like number 10 or 11

based on salary structure, but his age, they backed it up a little bit, but, you know, or it's a better situation for them,

contract flexibility, not necessarily cap flexibility, but in terms of paying as you go to pay less

over the next two years without a contract extension and not have to come out of pocket with it right

now. Maybe that's it. You know, they do have flexibility. He's got to play. They've got the tag they can

use next year. Why? If you think it's a low ball offer, $25 million to Terry, why do you think

they did it? I think it's a combination of what they really believe he's worth and maybe a desire to not

give him a contract extension, that playing out the final year of his deal and then having

the tag as a way they can go next year is cheaper and it is much better from a
