Come on. You know, I've got to be honest, I haven't seen, I feel like last year around this time,

it was like every time I stepped out my front door, I was besieged by like gangs of turkeys.

I haven't seen them as much this year.

They're often tucked away.

They'll be like hiding in like bushes and stuff.

Turkeys famously are on blue sky, so they see your posts, and they're aware. They know. They know it's actually on site. They said, on site, get out the way. Like, last fall, they were, like, stopping traffic. Like, 18-wheeler trucks are scared of them. They are so in time. Yeah, it's a lot. Well, I'm glad they're

leaving you alone so you can be at peace a little bit this fall in Cambridge.

Honestly, I miss them. I, you know, I kind of feel this weird. I feel like they're kind of like

the, like they're, you know, like mascots are like kind of creepy. Yeah. But charming.

They're, they're the mascot of Cambridge. Cambridgebridge, yeah, gobble, gobble, Cambridge. Well, listeners, as you can tell, this week's episode is all about Thanksgiving, which is right around the corner. And since you loved the last Ask Us Anything episode so much, we wanted to do a spin on that with our annual Thanksgiving episode. But this time around, we're answering your questions about how to survive Thanksgiving dinner and dealing with abrasive family members and a lot more.

And I have to say, you know, we as a podcast are very anti-colonialization.

Yes.

We understand that Thanksgiving is a holiday in which we, what would you say, gloss over the very brutal, awful history of America that we as black people know so well, but indigenous people know even better. So this episode's not about celebrating that kind of fable, but it's more about talking about how we, through all of that pain, come together, right, Sayy? Yeah, I mean, as so many American traditions are, it's built around a myth, right? A violent myth.
