I was watching last night the Netflix documentary on Jane Goodall.

She had an interview that was set to be released after her death. And I found it fascinating

this interview. If you don't know her, she's that English anthropologist. I'm sure you've seen

photos of her all over the world because she studied, I think it was for 60 years, chimpanzees in Tanzania. Her research

led to all of these groundbreaking discoveries. She's fascinating. Have a Google or even check

out the documentary. And what's so interesting, what really stood out to me as she was being interviewed?

And I believe she was interviewed by Gwyneth Paltrow's husband. I mean, his name's Brad

something. I can't remember his last name, but I don't know when it was, when it was filmed.

But anyway, the conversation was really interesting. And one thing that she said

that stood out to me was how shocked she is that people don't notice nature. It's almost as if she was

saying, there is magic, there is synchronicity, there is God all around us, and we don't see it. It's like we've

got our blinders on, our blinkers on, just making it through the day, missing all of this,

I mean, just the word magic keeps coming to mind, that surrounds us everywhere.

And she tells a story of how when she was just quietly observing, because she spent a lot of time alone just sitting around, you know, even people who would come and visit or people

who she was with, they were so immersed in thinking and planning.

And she said that one time she noticed a male and a female dung beetle rolling a piece of dung,

which is, of course, what they do.

And then another male beetle came along and started fighting with the male and the female,

specifically the male.

And they got into their own little kerfuffle, and then

the female ran away with the dung. I thought there are so many lessons in this. But what was
