Are you like not needing a favor, not needing any support,

not needing any help because you know, you're fine fine you're strong you got this oh I

understand you my friend it's almost as if you know some of us are so thrilled to help others. We're so

thrilled to step in to be the person who assists, who's useful, who's generous, but

we'd never dare ask for help, right? We'd never dare want the tables turned where someone is able to come in and

support and help take care of us. Am I right? Self-Sufficiency to the degree sometimes that we take it has many perils, right?

Often it's our inability to be vulnerable.

Asking for help, my friends, is a very courageous thing.

In that gorgeous book, I think it's called The Boy, The Fox, The Dog and The Mole. I forget the order of the title. the

the mole I forget the order of the title but by Charles Maccassie it's like one of the best-selling books of all time from my understanding

the boy in the book who's speaking to the animals says what's the most courageous thing you've ever done and the horse answers him

Asked I asked for help right asking for help is a very brave act.

But anyway, let's not digress with that book.

I know a lot of women who are extremely self-sufficient.

They've never asked me for anything.

If I think if they did need something something they wouldn't ask anyway, they'd

figure it out on their own, as if that's a very admirable quality. And look it is to a point.
