I would like to share with you today this short exchange that I've heard in different

instances from different people in the past few years and this short dialogue, this short exchange between two people

is very, very powerful.

It takes place between Kurt Vonnegut and Joseph Heller.

So this is a historical story, which is apparently true.

They were both together at a very fancy party hosted by a successful hedge fund manager.

And Kurt says to Joseph, oh my gosh, can you believe this guy?

He makes more money in a single day than we'll make in our entire lives.
