Hey, welcome back. So we're going to finish where we left off yesterday, and I have great

news. Julie and I are both feeling a lot better today. You know, it's funny. We grew up in Columbus, Ohio, you know, and the winter was always full of horrible weather and snow and clouds just made it so depressing to live there and the whole thing. And you had to leave occasionally and take lots of vitamin D or you'd feel really depressed. And I mean, you guys are living through that now. You know what I'm talking about. So Julie and I thought, well, let's move to a place where there really is no effect, effectively no winter. And so we ended up in Texas. And guess what you get in the winter in Texas? You get the nastiest pollen that you can possibly ever imagine. And those of us who are not from Texas originally have no immunity to it. And so for the first time in our lives, we get the worst kick butt allergies. It's called Cedar Fever. Texans know exactly what I'm talking about. So, yeah, winter has its pleasures no matter where you live. It's guys, I guess the message that I'm trying to share with all of you. Julie, welcome to today's podcast.

And the first year we lived here, I don't think we knew about it. And it was just very strange to all of a sudden feel really horrible in January and February,

which are really some of the nicest weather months that Texas has.

It's not blazing hot.

And then somebody said, see that orange stuff floating

in the wind when the wind blows? See that orange dust on the top of your car? That's pollen.

And that'll make you miserable. So start taking some drugs. Yeah. So there you have it.

But yes, we're starting to fight it. It is a real thing.

Yes, that's right. So anyway, there you go. And you can't escape it. It is what it is.

Welcome to be, welcome to planet Earth. All right. So we're talking about scarcity versus abundance.

So in Texas right now, there's an abundance of cedar pollen. Okay? I wish there was a scarcity of it. But Julie wrote down a lot of great notes.
