I'm proud of you. Today, we are going to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's word by looking at

1 Peter chapter 3, verses 10 through 12.

So get out your Bibles.

We're going to see how Peter uses a quotation from the Psalms to teach us what it means

to live and desire to live a good life.

Lord, God, help us to understand your word as Peter quotes the Psalms we want to hear how he's

applying your word.

So, Lord, give us hearts to receive and minds that are sharp to understand.

We ask in your name, amen. Okay, 1st Peter 3, 10 through

12. Peter has just told us that we are called to be a blessing to people and that instead of doing

evil when evil is done to us, we are to do the opposite. We are to bless instead of cursing.

Came picking up on that theme. He quotes from the Psalms. He says here in verse 10,

...
