One of the interns this morning gave me a wake-up call.

Didn't even know he did it, but he certainly did.

He made me realize that I have, um, I'm going against my general rule which is you can always make excuses up not to do things

right so I'm talking to our intern Brooks Brooks and Brooks see tells me I'm like I'm making small talk with him on the way up

I'm like so what are you doing this weekend and this dude who is like 20-21 years old

he's got just about every minute it seems like of his weekend

planned right so like today he's going to hang out with college friends

tonight he's going to the Braves game tomorrow he's hanging out with like high school

high school friends and his whole weekend is just all the social things and I'm like

man Braves maybe I'll do that tonight then the old guy kicks in he's like oh it's going to be like 90 degrees

Do I really want to go to a braise game where I'm going to sweat? He's like dude is at 730 at night or something it's going to be and I'm like yeah, but it'll be 80

And I was talking myself out of doing things and that's like my kernel rule not to do that is like go and do it because you can always talk

yourself out of it so then I came in here for a little extra motivation this

morning so I thought I'll ask the other young person in the studio

Abby what she's doing this weekend and she'll

fire me up to get off my ass, do something a little social and Abby hits me with...

I'm going to the Atlanta United game on Saturday and I'm going to clean my apartment.

Deep clean the apartment. And I didn't even know what that meant.

Yeah because you have people for that.
