Alright we are back in the book of Daniel chapter 4 and we are once again confronted with

a dream. And again it is a dream that the king Nebuchadnezzar had. Now keep in mind as

we looked at in yesterday's morning mindset, Nebuchadnezzar is the one telling this story.

He is recounting the fact of this dream that he had in Daniel being involved in its interpretation.

And today we're not going to get to the actual interpretation that Daniel gives him.

We're just going to walk through the details of the dream and we're going to draw out

some things that I believe the Lord would have us look at. This is Daniel chapter 4 verses

4 through 18. It says, I Nebuchadnezzar was at ease in my house and prospering in my palace.

I saw a dream that made me afraid. As a lay in bed, the fancies and the visions of my head

alarmed me. So I made a decree that all the wise men of Babylon should be brought before me,

that they might make known to me the interpretation of the dream. Then the magicians, the enchanters,

the caldians, and the astrologers came in and I told them the dream, but they could not make known

to me its interpretation. At last, Daniel came in before me. He, who was named Belta Shazar,

after the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods? And they told him the dream,
