| 0:30.0 | Today, we're going to be talking about repaying evil for evil. |
| 0:36.0 | Now, let me give you a scenario here to get us into our topic for the day. |
| 0:40.0 | Imagine that you were working alongside someone in a team at work |
| 0:46.0 | and you all worked diligently on the project. |
| 0:50.0 | You put in some very specific specialized attention to the project |
| 0:55.0 | and that specific work that you did caused the project to just be amplified |
| 1:01.0 | and to become even more productive. And then when it comes time to present the product |
| 1:07.0 | to your superiors and to receive their feedback, someone else on your team |
| 1:13.0 | takes full credit for the things that you did. |
| 1:17.0 | Now, that's an evil thing and they get praised, they get a bonus, they get all kinds of things |
| 1:22.0 | and you get nothing. |
| 1:24.0 | It is natural human tendency to feel, first of all, |
| 1:29.0 | slided and taken advantage of in a situation like that because truly you have been slided |
| 1:34.0 | and you have been taken advantage of. But then it's natural human tendency |
| 1:39.0 | to want to make that person who did the wrong pay for what they've done. |
| 1:44.0 | This idea of revenge or payback is really what we're looking at today. |
