Amen. Amen. Good evening. Welcome. So glad you're here. You can be seated. Glad you came tonight. Those of you

online, we're glad that you're joining with us as well. Hey, by the way, we are going to partate together of

communion. So if you haven't gotten the elements yet, you might want to do so at this time. They are located at the back and you can get them there. Those of you online, if you want to have them ready, at the conclusion of the Bible study tonight, we will be partaking together. Looking forward to it tonight, there's something that is going to I think really

fit with what we're going to see in our Bible study tonight we're going to take

two chapters tonight they're shorter chapters for those of you that read ahead

to stay ahead you already know what's ahead. So they are shorter chapters, but just

because they're short doesn't mean the Bible study will be short. Won't be long

either, but so I made the decision to teach these two chapters by framing the title

which I hope by now you understand is synonymous with the takeaway because it

is an expositional teaching verse by verse I put a title on

it which I spent a lot of time inquiring of the Lord concerning because I wanted to

reflect the theme the main thing if prefer, that is in the chapter

or chapters that we're studying.

And I did that this time in the form of a question.

The question is this, do I really know what's coming

upon this world and perhaps more importantly why.

That's going to get answered for us tonight here in Amos, chapter three and four.

And you have to understand that the parallels are eerily similar to where we're at particularly in America today.

And I speak in the broad sense because you have to understand that Amos was, first of all,

he was my homie from last week.

You know why?

He's from my hometown of Tico.
