Welcome to February 2026's episode of Love and Abuse.

There'll probably be a couple more episodes in this month,

but I just wanted to mark the date.

And the only reason I'm doing that is because I started this show in February of 2019.

In fact, I started it on Valentine's Day.

I didn't even realize I was doing it, but then after I recorded that episode and published it on Valentine's Day,

I thought, wow, that's appropriate because this show is all about relationships.

And Valentine's Day probably triggers some people, probably makes some people feel uncomfortable,

probably, um, gives hope to some people, like maybe this will be nice.

Maybe we can celebrate instead of argue or I feel like I'm being blamed or made to feel

guilty for doing something I didn't do.

And maybe we can get along and have a great day.

I hope that's what happens for you.

But if you're listening, it's probably not what you normally experience, but that's what

I'm here to continue helping you do to figure out how to deal with these challenging

situations and people and all the complexities
