Calvinism is not a monolithic group. There are different kinds of Calvinists and we want to be

kind to our lower forms of Calvinism. And what I mean by that is not trying to denigrate the lower

forms of Calvinists. What it means is there's a higher Calvinism, which is a

Calvinism that is more consistent within the claims of John Calvin and higher in the sense that

it's a little bit higher in the understanding of what determinism is and meticulous providence,

superlapsarian. I know that gets into the whole controversy over

the order of God's decrees and gets somewhat philosophical. Nevertheless, there are different

types of Calvinist, and therefore it's difficult for those of us who disagree with all forms

of Calvinism to rightly represent them, and we never will ultimately rightly represent every form of Calvinism and every discussion that we have. That's just physically impossible. But we do want to be true to try to represent the person that we're engaging with. This is one of the reasons that you'll always hear me or see me on the screen quoting directly from Calvinist.
