watching that thing if I can. Avs win their third game of the rookie face-off. This one,

4-3 over Vegas in overtime. They win all three of their games at this event, and that's

where I want to start the show today. They go 3 and 0 at a rookie

face off. Does this matter to the organization internally? Are they patting themselves on the

back? Hey, we went 3 and 0 or do they not care about the record at this thing at all?

I think it matters for players to some extent as well as Aaron Schneecloth in something of a coaching debut to get those

wins over this weekend overseeing this group especially looking at the depleted lineup that they

had to put on the ice tonight this afternoon he had to make some difficult decisions and get a little

creative having Brian Eun play as a forward.

And it's interesting then for them to even come out with the win because we talk about culture a lot on the show.

And for players that are just invites at this tournament, obviously there's a lot on the line because players are trying to impress, generally speaking.

But being able to pull out the win, it gets opposite of a

good Vegas team just felt like the story of the showcase, that they were playing opposite

of teams that had really deep prospect pools, and no matter who they put on the ice,

they found a way to win, and I think that's just culturally going to be significant for

what it ends up being the Eagles group going forward,
