Our top story, Amy Coney Barrett is on track

to being Trump's third Supreme Court justice. And I'll tell you why I like her or why I'm okay with that.

I was not crazy about the previous picks. I I worry a lot about the Bill of Rights.

Brett Kavanaugh was such a Clinton chill in the Vince Foster episode

that he worked for Ken Starr, the whole thing was awful.

I can't stand that guy.

But Amy Coney Barrett from, you know, I didn't like dig in like crazy, but from, she seems intelligent,

she seems sincere and authentic, and I like two really important positions of hers which is

textualism as opposed to originalism or whatever you would call it, which are, it's a confusing distinction I've pointed it out before.

The original intent of the framers is what some people like. That's originalism. I think that's what the federalists feel like. But

textualism is the

original meaning of the text, but the difference is if you look at the founders and the originalism,

that's only one side of this contract.

Let's call this the social contract, whether you believe in the

social contract or not, this is probably the closest thing you can find to actual physical

evidence of a social contract. There have to be two parties in a contract with a meeting of

the minds or the contract does not exist. So if you just care about what the

original intent was by the founders, they, you think they're on your side, but they drafted

this and the people had to accept it.
